The project 'Attending to cultural diversity' was designed to enable practioners to examine the ways in which diversity can be called upon to demonstrate and develop the skills, knowledge and understandings required for students to participate effectively within culturally diverse environments. This publication is an outcome of that project. It is an interpretation of experience and approaches already operating in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. The use of the material lies somewhere between reading a course outline and teaching a group of students. It is not a recipe of practice or a 'quick fix' module in cultural diversity; rather its purpose is to provide the opportunity for teachers to reflect upon everyday circumstances. Show less
